JUNIOR MUAY THAI / KICKBOXING CLASS

Our junior Muay Thai / Kickboxing class is designed to teach primary school aged children the fundamentals of Muay Thai / Kickboxing. This includes learning how to move, punch, kick, elbow, knee and defend correctly. Once the junior reaches high school age they’ll be able to smoothly transition into the adult Muay Thai / Kickboxing classes. There is no sparring or head-contact in our Junior Muay Thai / Kickboxing Class.

Muay Thai has deep historical roots in Thailand, evolving from ancient military techniques used by Thai soldiers. It was formalised as a sport in the early 20th century. Muay Thai, often called the “Art of Eight Limbs,” is known for its use of eight points of contact—fists, elbows, knees, and shins. Muay Thai has gained international recognition and is practiced around the world. It influences various other martial arts and combat sports, including Mixed Martial Arts (MMA). Many people practice Muay Thai for its physical fitness benefits and self-defense applications.
